My largest and last release of the year! I have been busy making sooo much this season with all my art events. Tomorrow Friday the 12th I’ll be dropping all my new work which includes stained glass, new prints, paintings AND my latest exploration of sketch studies I’m excited to share. Here are a few of my favs hitting my site tomorrow.
I’ve been loving painting on unstretched canvas and the raw way the edges start to come undone, it’s perfectly imperfect and add’s a little texture to the space. I like to hang these with tiny nails on all 4 corners. This piece is titled “Starting a New Home”.
I’ve been busy making lots of new stained glass work! More than 30 of my light lovers will be available tomorrow in the release. In my space, I like to line up about 3-4 on a window sill.
Lately I’ve been creating these small works on paper (about postcard size) as a way to stretch my brain, turn off expectations and play. These mixed-media pieces end up informing my larger works and murals. I scan them all in and use the works to create digital collages. I often make these at night and have felt so inspired by what happens in that space.
Lastly, I will be releasing 7 new prints in my shop tomorrow. Each a limited numbered edition. All of these were original paintings I did this year and am excited to share them in print format with you all.
Flower on Blue will be available in 18X20, numbered edition of 10.
Stackings will be available in 16X20, limited edition of 5.
